Fun facts about Quinoa:
Quinoa is not grain, it’s a seed. Quinoa is a complete protein containing amino acids our bodies need and is rich in B Vitamins including folate.
– 1 cup uncooked quinoa
– 2 cups water
– 2 tablespoons butter / ghee
– 3 beets, steamed or baked – cubed
– 1/4 teaspoon chopped ginger
– 1 teaspoon salt
Create your unique expression by adding other ingredients!
– Rinse 1 cup Quinoa until water runs clear.
-In a medium saucepan, add water, butter/ghee, chopped ginger.
-Bring to a boil over medium/high heat.
-Reduce to simmer, cover and cook until all liquid is absorbed
